Announcement: Project Vox Classroom Blog Series

Posted on March 15, 2021

The philosophers featured on Project Vox were historically excluded from formal education, therefore they had to be creative in their pursuit of knowledge. Our newest series, Project Vox Classroom, explores where learning happens and how the classroom experience is shaped when incorporating marginalized philosophers. A relearning of philosophy occurs when syllabi critically consider the boundaries of the canon and go beyond siloing based on identity.

The guest authors featured in this series will represent all levels of education: teachers and students of primary, secondary, and college. Project Vox classroom is a space for educators and students that have designed, experienced, or considered a classroom restructured significantly as the syllabus expands beyond the traditional canon of Western male philosophers.
