Carolina Iribarren was raised in Caracas, Venezuela. She is currently a PhD student at the Comparative Literature department at Emory University. She completed her BA in literature and philosophy at Cornell University in 2015 and joined Duke’s Department of Art, Art History & Visual Studies in 2017. She is interested in early modern philosophy, feminist theory, and material culture. She worked as a lead researcher for Project Vox.
