Katherine Owensby is an undergraduate studying Classical Languages and Linguistics at Duke University. Her research focuses on dialects of North Carolinians, but she is also interested in ancient sociolinguistics. In her role with Project Vox, Katherine lead the exploratory research on Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz. She also helped with research on Princess Elisabeth and Anna Maria van Schurman.
