Dwight K. Lewis Jr. is an assistant professor of philosophy with transdisciplinary commitments, the Stephen Setterberg Faculty Fellow in Philosophy, one of the co-founders/co-directors of the Center for Canon Expansion and Change, cohost of the podcast Larger, Freer, More Loving with Matt LaVine (SUNY), and co-curator of art exhibitions with Dan Greenberg (UMN-TC). His research interrogates philosophy and society through a sociohistorical lens; he focuses on the History of Philosophy, Africana Philosophy, Critical Theory, and public philosophy/engagement.
